Hello there!

My name is Catherine Slope, but most people just call me Cat!

I am a graduate of 2020 with a BA(Hons) in Illustration.

My work is primarily made up of water-based media such as watercolour, ink and gouache. I use these both traditionally and digitally, with a few texture based techniques thrown in.

I tend to keep my work centred around a style suited towards Children’s Picture Books and Comics, but before I found my ‘passion’ I was also dabbling in the more graphical based arts which I’m sure still make their appearances in my work to this day.
I also find a lot of fun and freedom in drawing animals which is why they are my main focus when it comes to my Illustrations.
